About MyBCAT
MyBCAT (mybcat.com) is a US-based managed back-office and call-center service for 30+ U.S. optometry practices. We're founder-led, remote-first, AI-forward. We already have 60+ Filipino teammates on our operations team delivering world-class work for our US clients — now we need a finance owner to bring that same discipline to our books, billing, and operating decisions. You'd be the most senior PH-based finance hire on the team, working directly with the founder.
What you'll own
- Cleanup + ongoing monthly close of MyBCAT's QuickBooks Online.
- CVC bookkeeping in a separate QuickBooks Online instance. CVC is our sister US clinical entity and a MyBCAT bookkeeping client.
- Payroll for MyBCAT — accuracy, deadline discipline, no surprises.
- AR / AP, invoicing, billing across 30+ US clients via Bill.com, with a real cadence on aged AR.
- Forecasting and projections. A rolling 12-month cash view the founder can actually use.
- COGS and cost discipline — vendors, tooling, labor. Flag drift before it compounds.
- Tooling simplification. You inherit QuickBooks (×2), Bill.com + an in-flight Bill.com integration, our internal AR system. Mandate: simplify, not stack.
- Cross-functional accountability. Not a finance silo — you partner weekly with sales, tech, and ops leadership and hold them accountable to the numbers.
What we're really hiring for
A driver and sense-maker. Someone who walks into messy books and creates order without drama. Someone who tells the founder what's true, what's risky, and what decision is needed now. QuickBooks Online + US GAAP fluency matters. Multi-entity bookkeeping matters. Strong candidates often come from CPA Philippines, ex-Big-4 PH (SGV/EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC), US-CPA-firm outsourcing roles, or senior BPO finance functions (Penbrothers, Cloudstaff, MicroSourcing). We're particularly interested in mid-to-senior finance professionals who left structured environments to go remote, are tired of stacking part-time clients, and want a serious single-employer seat with a real growth path. Judgment, ownership, and ethics matter more than any credential.
What we're NOT looking for
- Job-collectors / double-dippers running parallel full-time roles or stacking OnlineJobs.ph clients to make a full-time. Single-employer commitment is mandatory; we screen with reference checks and current-commitment disclosures.
- VA-tier bookkeepers who can record a transaction but can't translate balance-sheet movement into cash-runway implications.
- Passive operators waiting for a checklist to begin the day.
- CFO-comp-seekers wanting the executive comp band before earning it.
What you'll get

- Compensation: ₱100,000 – ₱150,000 PHP/month, full-time ($1,800–$2,700 USD at prevailing FX, commensurate with experience and confirmed at offer). Reliable monthly payment, on schedule.
- Schedule: Full-time, US night shift in PH time — real-time overlap with US Eastern business hours; minimum 4 hours/day overlap. Be honest with yourself about whether this fits your life long-term.
