Finance Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting functions including journal entries, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) maintenance
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of financial periods
• Monitor and improve accounting systems, procedures, and controls
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and company policies
• Lead and supervise the accounting team, including performance management and development
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure proper documentation
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with finance leadership
• Review reconciliations of bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is required)
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role or supervisory
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
