Role: Finance Officer

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain and update general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash management tasks.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process invoices, vendor payments, and expense claims accurately and timely.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tax reports and BIR forms as required.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support preparation of departmental budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Assist with financial planning activities and provide insights on budget performance.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with Philippine financial and tax regulations.
- Support internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary documents and explanations.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
Financial Analysis
- Prepare analytical reports on financial performance, trends, and variances.
- Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to management on financial issues and opportunities.
General
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (HR, Operations, Admin) for finance-related matters.
- Respond to inquiries from external partners such as auditors, banks, and government agencies.
- Support continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.
- Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum 25 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or auditing roles.
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and accounting software.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle) is an advantage.
