As we continue to grow, we're seeking a highly capable Finance Officer to join our remote finance team. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in both executing and overseeing transactional finance functions. You'll play a key role in ensuring the financial operations of the business are accurate, compliant, and timely, helping us maintain momentum as we scale.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for both processing and managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring clean data, timely reporting, and efficient compliance across all financial functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and processing accounts receivable, including statements and collections
• Performing bank reconciliations and preparing deposit summaries
• Managing Xero inputs: supplier invoices, receipts, credit cards, recurring entries, and banking data
• Preparing and lodging BAS, handling payroll, superannuation, and leave entitlements
• Delivering month-end financial reports within 5 working days of close
• Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining financial controls
• Providing clear, data-driven financial reporting to support business decisions
• Communicating financial matters via email and online meetings
• Actively contributing to continuous improvement in finance systems and processes

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in financial operations, a passion for accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. The ideal candidate will bring:

• CPA qualification (mandatory) and a deep understanding of accounting principles and standards
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a Finance Officer role supporting Australian-based clients
• Proven proficiency in Xero, Excel, and general accounting processes
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines
• A team player mindset, collaborative, communicative, and dependable
• Prior experience in FMCG, retail, or distribution sectors is highly regarded

Work Schedule

• This is a fully remote position for a candidate located in the Philippines
• You'll work in alignment with the Queensland (QLD) time zone

Salary

• 94,000/month (All-Inclusive Package)
