DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
About the role
This role will reports to Finance Director.
- Financial Management
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and cash management.
- Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, government reporting requirements, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide variance analysis and recommendations to management.
- Support strategic planning with financial data and insights.
- Internal Controls
- Implement and maintain effective internal control systems.
- Review financial processes to identify risks and recommend improvements.
- Safeguard company assets through proper documentation and monitoring.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance.
- Support management in decision-making with accurate financial information.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE |

The Ideal Finance Officer
- CPA or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in ERP systems preferred.
