DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

This role will reports to Finance Director.

• Financial Management
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and cash management.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Reporting & Compliance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, government reporting requirements, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Provide variance analysis and recommendations to management.
• Support strategic planning with financial data and insights.
• Internal Controls
• Implement and maintain effective internal control systems.
• Review financial processes to identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Safeguard company assets through proper documentation and monitoring.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance.
• Support management in decision-making with accurate financial information.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
  

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

The Ideal Finance Officer

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in ERP systems preferred.
