Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management & Reporting
Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions, reconciliation of accounts, and maintenance of financial records.
Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Banking & Financing Operations
Handle loan documentation, credit evaluation, and monitoring of loan performance.
Verify client creditworthiness, review financial documents, and support credit decision-making.
Manage collections, repayments, and financing schedules.
Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for fund transfers, loan facilities, interest computations, and reconciliation.
- Risk Management & Compliance
Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and industry standards.
Assist with implementation of risk mitigation procedures and internal controls.
Monitor regulatory updates from the central bank and adjust practices accordingly.
Support anti-money laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) processes as required.
- Treasury & Cash Management
Monitor daily cash position, liquidity status, and funding requirements.
Manage bank reconciliations, payments, collections, and cash flow optimization.
Prepare cash forecasts and support treasury planning activities.
Provide financial analysis to support business decisions, new product evaluations, and investment opportunities.
Assist in improving financial processes and implementing financial systems or tools.
Collaborate with departments such as sales, credit, and operations to ensure smooth workflow of financing activities.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 25 years of experience in a bank, financing company, or lending institution.
Experience with loan operations, credit processing, financial analysis, or treasury functions preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, banking operations, and credit processes.
Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Office (especially Excel).
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., central bank regulations, AML/KYC).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and strong ethical standards.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
