The role
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the company's financial activities and make sure all processes follow local laws and global company policies. This role is for an experienced finance professional who understands treasury operations, cash management, financial strategy, and compliance.
Your Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight and Controls
- Ensure accurate and timely financial recordkeeping in line with local laws and regulations.
- Establish, maintain, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent errors or fraud.
- Treasury and Cash Management
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to guarantee sufficient funds for business operations and investments.
- Oversee company bank accounts, deposits, and short-term investments.
- Execute fund transfers, foreign exchange transactions, and maintain strong relationships with banking partners.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure all filings, reports, and certifications comply with statutory requirements and corporate policies.
- Submit accurate and timely tax filings, regulatory reports, and financial disclosures.
- Taxation and Regulatory Coordination
- Oversee all corporate tax, VAT, and statutory obligations, ensuring compliance and timeliness.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Maintain organized records to support audits and inspections.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Collaborate with the CFO and finance teams across regions to align local practices with global standards.
- Lead, guide, and develop the Finance and Treasury team to ensure smooth operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and external consultants.
- Strategic Planning and Risk Management
- Provide insights and financial recommendations to support business decisions.
- Identify potential financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- 810 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or treasury roles.
- Experience in multinational companies or large corporate finance environments preferred.
- Strong expertise in treasury operations, financial controls, and taxation.
- Knowledge of corporate governance, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
