The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and developing strategies to ensure the company's long-term financial stability. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations, supports strategic decision-making, and provides insights into financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and expense controls to ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial insights to support business planning.
- Support management in strategic planning, cost analysis, and investment decisions.
- Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff to enhance team capability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in finance, accounting, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
