As Finance Manager, you will oversee daily financial operations, with a focus on US GAAP, SOX, Local IFRS/PFRS. You will be responsible for ensuring that the company's books and transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date in real-time, generating reports and providing data that different teams need.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for the review of Financial Statements with Disclosures and other ad-hoc service requests
- Responsible for the preparation of reports compliant with US GAAP, SOX, Local IFRS/PFRS
- Manages and ensures the timely and accurate delivery of the members of the handled team
- Ensure daily accounting records of the company as a whole are accurate and timely, and maintain constant communication with the company's outsourced accounting team to deliver timely government-related requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and business units to ensure proper recording of the organization's financial records to ensure that the company's financials are correctly reflected and accurate to aid high-level management decisions.
- Oversee and assist when necessary in developing, implementing, and maintaining proper financial and accounting protocols.
- Accounts payable and receivable are verified, allocated, posted, and reconciled.
- Analyze financial data and provide a summary of the financial situation.
- Examine accounting systems and practices and make recommendations for changes.
- Oversee and assist in managing statutory reporting by doing the required checks on the company's accounting system:
- Cross-checking whether sales transactions are properly logged from the respective sales channels into the accounting system
- Assisting in ensuring purchase invoices match the accounting system's accounts payable & are paid on time
- Assisted in month-end processes and period roll procedures and collaborated with the finance department in analyzing financial data for weekly meetings.
- Lead year-end finance requirements, such as submission of Audited Financial Statements

- Bank Reconciliation
- General Ledger and Trial Balances
- Preparation of schedules needed by outside parties (i.e, auditors)
- Tax Compliance
What We Look For:
- Graduate of Accountancy. CPA is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Experience in US GAAP, SOX, Local IFRS/PFRS
- With at least 3 years of experience working in Accounting or Finance; experience working in the Retail Industry is a plus.
- With strong analytical skills, is data-driven, and has strong communication skills.
- Keen on details and can provide accurate and timely reports.
- Has experience in utilizing and navigating software tools such as MS Office and other related software tools.
- Willing to work on-site in multiple locations (QC, Pasig and/or Mandaluyong)
- With experience in handling a team of Finance staff.
