Role Description The Finance Executive is a full-time role based in the National Capital Region, Philippines, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accurate financial reporting aligned with local and international standards. The Finance Executive will manage GST-related activities, including compliance, filing, and reconciliation, while supporting broader finance functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring transactions, maintaining up-to-date financial records, supporting internal and external audits, and providing insights to management to improve financial performance and cost efficiency. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decisions and maintain strong internal controls.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with the ability to apply financial principles to support decision-making and cost optimization.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements and managing Financial Reporting in accordance with relevant standards.
- Sound understanding of Goods and Services Tax (GST), including compliance, filing, and reconciliation processes.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong MS Excel skills for financial modeling and reporting.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid setup and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
