Job Overview:

The role of Manager, Finance & Accounting is to lead our night shift General Ledger team (10:00 PM to 7:00 AM PHT) supporting our US business mainly oversight of the day-to-day accounting operations as well as management of team performance.

Work Arrangement:

  • On-site presence is required twodays per week, including Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Ledger Management

  • Identify and record all General Ledger transactions (e.g., cut-off accruals, provisions, payroll, taxes).
  • Reconcile sub-ledgers to the General Ledger, perform ageing analyses, and ensure the completeness and fair valuation of assets and liabilities.
  • Oversee AP, AR, inventory and fixed-asset ledgers, and manage cost-accounting entries as required.

2. Financial Close & Reporting

  • Lead the monthly close for assigned entities, preparing the Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance and variance analyses.
  • Load monthly results intoGroup reporting tools and respond to consolidation or regional queries.
  • Prepare annual US-GAAP financial statements and statutory filings.

3. Audit, Compliance & Controls

  • Coordinate internal and external audits, own remediation actions and the annual internal-control self-assessment.
  • Ensure adherence to IFRS/US-GAAP, corporate accounting policies and SOX/internal-control requirements.
  • Provide supporting schedules for VAT and Corporate Income Tax returns.

4. Team Leadership & Service Delivery

  • Manage General Ledgerteam (4Senior GL Accountants): staffing, training, performance management and succession planning.
  • Plan workload and resources, define and track SLAs, KPIs and productivity metrics, and report on performance to Senior CoEManager andRegional Controller.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement.

5. Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and lead standardization, automation and other change initiatives.

6. Consolidation & Regional Support

  • Prepare and submit consolidated regional reports and handle ad-hoc financial requests from stakeholders.

Required profile:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and/or proactively address issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products (above average Excel skills required).Abilityto perform multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Understanding offinancial terms related to product, software development, and service delivery.
  • Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to make timely and sound decisions.

Required Experience

  • BS in Accounting or Finance a CPA is required MBA a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years of managing an accounting team
  • Experience with a mid to largeERP system, MS Dynamics ERP systems (D365 and Great Plains) preferred.
  • Experience with reporting systems, TM1 and BFC preferred.
  • Process improvement experience preferred
  • IFRS
