Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Service Technician located in Lanang, Davao City, Philippines. The Field Service Technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, repair, and conduct troubleshooting to minor to major repairs container and bulk handling equipment. Assist Service Engineers during field service activities. Assist in parts deliveries when required. Maintain assigned tools and equipment. Key responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently. The technician will also collaborate with the technical support team and provide documentation of their work.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with experience in handling industrial equipment maintenance and repairs
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues
• Understanding of equipment safety protocols, preventative maintenance, and best practices
• Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic work conditions and customer needs
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
• Technical diploma, vocational training, or certifications in mechanical or electrical engineering fields preferred
• Hands-on experience working with container or bulk handling equipment will be an advantage
• Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when required
