Job Objective
Responsible for sourcing, selecting, and purchasing high-quality Isdang Dagat from suppliers, fish farms, or trading hubs. The role ensures that procurement is done efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with quality standards. The purchaser negotiates prices, manages supplier relationships, and coordinates with internal teams for delivery and stock handling.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Purchase isdang dagat from trusted suppliers, fish farmers, or auction markets.
- Ensure isdang dagat meets quality standards (e.g., size, freshness, weight).
- Monitor isdang dagat market trends and price fluctuations to buy at optimal rates.
- Build and maintain relationships with isdang dagat vendors, suppliers, and fishpond operators.
- Schedule and coordinate regular supply deliveries.
- Resolve issues related to supply delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers to meet target margins.
- Compare multiple sources to get the best quality at the lowest price.
- Track purchase costs and submit reports for accounting and inventory.
- Maintain records of purchases, receipts, and delivery notes.
- Submit daily or weekly procurement reports to management.
- Assist in inventory tracking and reconciliation with warehouse or sales teams.
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements And Qualifications
- With at least 2-3-year experience as purchaser of fresh or frozen and in wet market trading.
- Experience as purchaser of Isdang Dagat is an advantage.
- Living for 2 years in the current address.
- Willing to go on different places and work on field on a regular basis especially in wet markets.
- With strong interpersonal skills, good at convincing people positively.
- Easy to adapt, willing to learn the business with persistence and endurance.
- Ability to manage numbers and analyze data.
- Trustworthy and values integrity. No bad records and integrity issues.
