DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facility Systems Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other critical building systems.
Preventive Maintenance
- Develop, implement, and manage a preventive maintenance schedule for all facility systems, ensuring that all equipment is serviced and maintained regularly.
Troubleshooting and Repairs
- Quickly respond to and resolve building system malfunctions or breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
Energy Management and Sustainability
- Monitor energy usage across the facilities and suggest improvements for energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost reduction.
Project Support and Execution
- Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of facility upgrades, renovations, or new construction projects.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure all facilities systems comply with local building codes, safety standards, and health regulations.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all systems, equipment, maintenance activities, and inspections.
Vendor and Contractor Coordination
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for specialized facility services and repairs.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for improvement in facility operations, including system upgrades, process efficiencies, and cost-saving initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management, engineering, or a related field, with hands-on experience in building systems maintenance.
- Experience in high-rise buildings, corporate facilities, or specialized facilities (such as banks) is highly preferred.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- In-depth knowledge of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Proficient in building management systems (BMS), control systems, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Strong communication skills for interacting with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks effectively and on time.
- Knowledge of energy management practices, sustainability, and environmental compliance.
