Job Description

Role: Exchange Engineer



Job Summary: Microsoft Exchange Analyst provides operational support for Windows Exchange Servers and Office365 tenants that deliver services for the organization’s environment. Support the process of vulnerability management to ensure a secure and stable environment. Participate in operational ticket management including helping end users, completing requests, and changes. The position requires a responsible, self-motivated, well-organized individual with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while adapting quickly to rapidly changing priorities.


Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work closely with vendors to resolve user and production issues.

• Participate in operational support and on-call for a large enterprise messaging environment.

• Troubleshoot Exchange on-premises servers and M365 messaging resources.

• Generate operational documentation including change management paperwork.

• Maintain high morale to go above and beyond the minimum requirements.

• Work on multiple operational issues at one time.

• Provide support for ancillary messaging products including mobile management, faxing solution, and distribution list tools.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Provide support for release deployments in a 24x7 operations environment as required Produce technical and operational documentation.


Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience managing the day-to-day administration, support, maintenance, and monitoring of Exchange and Office365 Experience with mail routing.

• Must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to a wide audience Demonstrate a customer focused attitude.

• 1+ Service Now or equivalent ticketing system experience

• Must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to a wide audience.

• Microsoft Active Directory Administration experience

• PowerShell scripting experience

• ITIL experience (preferred)

• Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call after hour rotation environment.

• Good understanding of change management
