You own the estimating process for luxury residential and commercial tile, stone, and masonry projects, ensuring every quote is accurate, structured, and complete. From job setup in Simpro, through take-offs and pricing in Groundplan, to final review-ready estimates, your work directly supports project profitability and client satisfaction.

This is a production-focused role with clear ownership over internal workflows and continuous improvement. You will thrive here if you enjoy working methodically with detailed drawings, complex scopes, and structured estimating systems, while collaborating with builders, consultants, and internal teams to clarify technical questions and refine processes.

You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

• At least 5 years of proven experience as a construction estimator, preferably with tile, stone, flooring, or stone masonry works
• Hands-on experience preparing take-offs, pricing, and itemized estimates for projects ranging from $10,000 to $2,000,000
• Proficiency in estimating software, including Simpro and Groundplan
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for cost calculations and data analysis
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret complex architectural drawings, construction documentation, and commercial contracts
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and relevant building codes
• Experience liaising with builders and consultants for RFIs and technical clarifications
• Willingness to work a fixed day shift (5:00 AM2:00 PM, MondayFriday) in a fully remote setup
• Long-term mindset, with commitment to improving estimating systems and workflows

Responsibility Pillars

Estimating Ownership

You produce accurate, detailed, and review-ready estimates for tile, stone, and stone masonry projects.

• Prepare take-offs from architectural and construction drawings
• Complete pricing using Groundplan templates and assemblies
• Produce clear, itemized inclusions lists aligned with each estimate

Workflow & Systems Management

You manage and refine internal estimating systems and templates.

• Set up jobs in Simpro and manage quote workflows
• Support continuous improvement of pre-builds, catalogs, and templates
• Identify assumptions, scope gaps, and risk items proactively

Client & Consultant Coordination

You ensure technical clarity and alignment before submission.

• Liaise with builders and consultants for RFIs and clarifications
• Incorporate post-tender revisions and scope changes into estimates
• Communicate professionally and clearly in all interactions

Analytical & Reporting Excellence

You provide insight and precision for decision-making.

• Analyze complex drawings, contracts, and commercial terms
• Maintain structured documentation for internal review
• Identify improvement opportunities for efficiency and accuracy
