We are looking for a highly experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead the implementation, improvement, and compliance of workplace safety and environmental management systems. This role will drive initiatives aligned with international standards and help the organization work toward certifications such as IMS (Integrated Management System) by establishing solid frameworks for compliance and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict compliance with environmental and labor regulatory agencies such as DENR, DOLE, and other relevant bodies.
- Manage and monitor the EHS budget, ensuring all initiatives are carried out efficiently and within financial limits.
- Establish and periodically test emergency preparedness and response plans to address incidents such as fire, chemical exposure, or workplace accidents.
- Develop and enforce safety programs designed to proactively minimize workplace risks and maintain a safe operational environment.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to internal policies, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety standards.
- Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all departments through continuous improvement strategies.
- Lead and conduct EHS-related trainings, mentoring staff on industry regulations, safety practices, and sustainable operations.
- Support various operational needs through cross-functional collaboration and EHS process integration.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or any Engineering-related course.
- Must be a licensed Engineer.
- Certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and/or Safety Officer (SO) is required.
- At least 10 years of EHS experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledgeable in safety compliance, risk assessment, and emergency management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Willing to work onsite in Laguna.
