You own the accuracy and completeness of electrical cost estimates that directly determine bid competitiveness and project viability. Your work translates drawings, specifications, and scope requirements into structured, reliable pricing outputs used for tender submissions and project planning.

This role operates within defined estimation workflows, supporting multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining consistency across cost databases and templates. You coordinate with internal stakeholders to align scope, timelines, and pricing assumptions. Best suited for professionals who are detail-driven, comfortable working independently, and thrive in structured, deadline-driven environments.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in construction or electrical contracting
• Hands-on experience producing cost estimates, quotations, and bid/tender documentation
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents for costing
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and cost components
• Experience managing multiple estimates with strict deadlines and accuracy requirements
• Comfortable working remotely with a fixed early-morning shift (5:00 AM2:00 PM, MonFri)

STRONG SIGNALS

RESPONSIBILITY PILLARS

Electrical Cost Estimation Ownership

You are responsible for producing accurate, complete, and competitive cost estimates aligned with project scope and requirements.

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates based on drawings and specifications
• Develop structured quotations and pricing proposals
• Identify material, labor, and cost drivers across projects

Tender & Bid Execution

You ensure all estimates are delivered on time and aligned with submission requirements for competitive bidding.

• Prepare and contribute to tender and bid documentation
• Deliver estimates within defined timelines to support multiple submissions
• Maintain consistency across all bid-related outputs

Documentation & Cost Database Management

You maintain the integrity and usability of estimating resources to ensure repeatability and efficiency.

• Update estimating templates and cost databases
• Standardize documentation for consistency across projects
• Ensure all records are accurate and audit-ready

Cross-Team Coordination

You align estimates with project scope, timelines, and internal expectations to reduce rework and misalignment.

• Collaborate with internal teams on scope clarification
• Ensure estimates reflect accurate project requirements
• Address discrepancies before submission

Process Improvement & Scalability

You contribute to increasing the efficiency and capacity of the estimating function.

• Identify gaps in current workflows and recommend improvements
• Enhance processes to support higher bid volume
