Dispatcher / Customer Service Coordinator
We are seeking a reliable and organized
Dispatcher / Customer Service Coordinator to manage daily job scheduling, truck routing, and customer communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and able to coordinate multiple moving parts efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch and assign jobs to drivers or field teams.
- Plan and optimize truck routes for efficiency and timely service.
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed.
- Handle customer service, including inbound and outbound calls, updates, and issue resolution.
- Communicate with drivers and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and job statuses
Requirements
- Experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation coordination.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling or dispatch software (preferred)
