Drive High-Impact Paid Advertising Strategies Across Multiple Regions and Brands
Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven PPC & Paid Social Specialist to take full ownership of our paid advertising channels and help scale our marketing efforts across multiple brands and regions. This role focuses primarily on Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, Performance Max) and includes support for Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram).
You will collaborate closely with the internal marketing team to generate high-quality leads, optimise cost-per-acquisition, and maximise return on ad spend. This is a hands-on role suited for someone analytical, creative, and passionate about building high-performing campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Google Ads Management (Core Responsibility)
- Build, manage, and optimise all Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max).
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and targeting refinement.
- Monitor daily budgets, bids, and performance with a strong focus on lead quality.
- Improve Quality Score, reduce CPCs, and increase conversion rates.
- Develop and test ad variations, headlines, copy, extensions, and landing page recommendations.
- Implement audience segmentation, remarketing strategies, and conversion tracking.
- Perform regular campaign audits and restructures.
- Maintain and enhance tracking via Google Tag Manager, GA4, and CRM integrations.
Meta Paid Advertising (Secondary Responsibility)
- Collaborate with the content team to optimise Meta Ads campaigns.
- Assist in building targeted audiences (lookalikes, retargeting, interest-based, regional expansions).
- Support creative testing of formats, visuals, and ad copy variations.
- Monitor and adjust daily spend based on performance and lead quality.
Lead Generation & Conversion Optimisation
- Drive high-quality leads for core product lines and regional expansions.
- Ensure CPL and conversion rates align with KPIs.
- Analyse landing page performance and recommend CRO improvements.
- Work with the digital team to ensure brand consistency across ads and campaigns.
Data, Reporting & Strategy
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports (CPL, CPA, spend, insights).
- Develop strategies for new regions, promotions, and product launches.
- Track and forecast advertising budgets accurately.
- Support leadership in aligning paid advertising with broader marketing objectives.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Coordinate with creative, content, SEO, and internal media teams.
- Assist with creative direction for new ad visuals, videos, and copy.
- Support multi-brand advertising efforts during expansions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Haves
- 23+ years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns with proven ROI.
- Strong skills in Google Search, Display, Performance Max, and YouTube Ads.
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency with GA4, tracking tools, and conversion setup.
- Understanding of CRO principles and landing page best practices.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating compelling ad copy.
- Ability to work independently with full ownership of campaigns.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in home improvement, construction, or trade industries.
- Basic design or video editing skills (Canva, Meta Creative Tools).
- Experience with CRM platforms and multi-location ad management.
- Knowledge of local markets such as VIC, NSW, ACT, SA, and TAS.
