Job Description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, CI/CD automation, containerization, and infrastructure as code, and will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless application deployment and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Automation & Deployment: Streamline the deployment and management of cloud-based infrastructure. This includes implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for smooth application delivery.
  2. Infrastructure Management: Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (or AWS ECS/EKS). You will also handle database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL), including backup and recovery.
  3. Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously troubleshoot systems to ensure performance and high availability. A key focus is optimizing cloud resources for better cost efficiency.
  4. Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices such as IAM roles, VPC design, and encryption. You will contribute to security standards and ensure API gateway safety.
  5. Technical Collaboration: Partner with developers on API integrations, debugging, and performance tuning. You will also provide technical guidance to the wider team and stay current with the latest AWS and DevOps tools

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a blend of formal education and significant hands-on technical expertise.

  1. Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Junior Level: 23 years of experience, with a focus on CI/CD.
  • Senior Level: At least 5 years of experience, with expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.) and experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. An AWS Certified Professional status is highly preferred.
  • Technical Tooling: Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions. You should have strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation tasks.
  • Environment Knowledge: Familiarity with Java and microservices application deployment. Experience with monitoring stacks such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK is essential.
