Role: Design Engineer

Work Arrangement: Work From Home

Location: Any CS Branch - Angeles, Mabalacat, Makati, Ortigas, Tarlac, Davao, Cebu

Schedule: Morning Shift

We are seeking a Design Engineer with strong experience in sheet metal design and fabrication to join our design team. In this role, you will develop and optimise designs for manufacturability, translating concepts into detailed 3D models and 2D drawings ready for production. Working in a collaborative, hands-on environment, you will help ensure that our signage systems are both structurally sound and efficiently built.

Desirable (Not Essential) Skills

  • Familiarity with Australian construction techniques and practices
  • General understanding of civil engineering concepts, such as soil bearing capacities and structural design (no formal certification required)
  • Previous experience in signage design or related fabrication industries

  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Flexibility to manage multiple design projects simultaneously
  • A collaborative problem-solver who enjoys hands-on teamwork and creative technical challenges

Non-negotiable Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Proven experience in sheet metal design and fabrication
  • Solid knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and materials
  • Demonstrated proficiency with 3D CAD software (Onshape, SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA)
  • Willing to learn Onshape software if not knowledgeable already
  • Basic understanding of structural engineering principles, including wind load considerations
  • Strong grasp of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles
  • Understanding of manufacturing best practices and lean design approaches to optimise products for efficient production
  • Experience producing accurate 2D drawings compliant with Australian drafting standards and industry best practices
  • Strong professional communication skills, with the ability to fully partake and contribute to collaborative discussions
