Position Title: Demand Planner
Location: Cavite
Work set up: Onsite, Morning Shift
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain
- Management or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in demand planning or inventory management.
- Possess extensive knowledge and experience in the FMCG industry.
- Proficient in demand forecasting software and Excel, with strong analytical skills.
- Understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Ability to analyze data trends and make informed recommendations.
- Experience with stock aging and replenishment tracking processes.
- Knowledgeable to ERP systems and inventory management tools.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track stock aging to minimize excess inventory and waste.
- Analyze historical data to create accurate demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing and sales teams to understand upcoming promotions
- and events that could impact demand.
- Track and manage replenishment needs for both stores and remote warehouses.
- Conduct regular reviews of inventory levels to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels.availability.
- Evaluate inventory turnover rates and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Operations, and Purchasing to optimize stock
- Conduct regular reviews of forecast accuracy and adjust models as necessary.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency, identifying discrepancies, and
- stock aging to provide insights into inventory efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present demand reports to stakeholders, highlighting trends and insights.
- Implement best practices in demand planning and inventory management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
