Job Description
Job Summary:
The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting product demand to support efficient inventory management and uninterrupted supply for Food & Beverage operations. This role works closely with Sales, Production, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to ensure accurate demand plans aligned with business objectives, shelf-life requirements, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to align forecasts with promotional activities and seasonal demand.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts, overstocks, and product expiration.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning processes.
- Support production and procurement planning based on approved demand plans.
- Prepare regular demand and inventory reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in planning activities.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in demand planning, preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in planning tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
