Aventus Group is expanding and we're looking for a hands-on Data Scientist (Credit Risk) to strengthen our risk analytics function and take ownership of credit risk modelling initiatives across multiple markets.

Aventus Group is an international fintech group with nearly 15 years of experience in developing and scaling innovative financial products across three continents.

We're looking for:

1.5+ years of experience in credit risk modelling (mandatory);

Experience in classical modeling methods (logistic regression, decision trees, clustering, etc.) and ML/AI (random forests, neural networks, boosting);

Strong SQL and Python skills (experience with additional tools is a plus);

Proven experience in banks or fintech companies is required;

Expertise in credit risk analysis, scoring models, PD/LGD/EAD modelling, and portfolio performance metrics;

Comfortable working deeply with data, validating outputs, and troubleshooting end-to-end processes;

The ability to present analysis results to people without advanced statistical knowledge.

Your mission as Data Scientist (Credit Risk):

Develop, validate, and enhance credit risk models to ensure robustness, stability, and predictive accuracy for Asia markets;

Build and optimise scoring models and risk segmentation strategies;

Analyse portfolio performance and identify risk drivers;

Providing advanced analytical support for ad-hoc tasks

Support credit risk decision-making with data-driven insights;

Effective cooperation with business areas: IT, marketing, debt collection, customer support.
