About the Role
We are seeking a Data Scientist to join a growing AI & Analytics function. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on solving real business problems using data science, analytics, and machine learning.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with business acumen and the ability to translate data into measurable impact. Prior industry-specific experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
This role works closely with business, operations, and transformation stakeholders to design and deploy data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Own business problems end-to-end from opportunity identification to solution deployment and impact measurement
- Understand business models, operational workflows, and pain points
- Identify opportunities where analytics and data science can create measurable value
- Leverage existing data sources and recommend new data collection approaches
- Design and deliver diagnostic, predictive, and ML-assisted analytics solutions
- Develop and deploy basic machine learning models where appropriate
- Use SQL, Python, and advanced Excel for data analysis and insight generation
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor solutions
- Track, measure, and optimise performance of deployed models
- Present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Act as a trusted analytics partner to business teams

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of:
- SQL
- Python
- Advanced Excel
- Understanding of basic machine learning concepts
- Ability to translate analysis into business insights
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
