We are seeking a highly experienced Data Modeling Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade data models for modern data platforms and cloud data ecosystems.
This role is strictly open to candidates currently residing in the Philippines and amenable to working onsite in Cebu City.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and client workshops
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Implement Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema)
- Apply 3NF Modeling and NoSQL Data Modeling techniques
- Contribute to Data Warehouse (DWH) architecture
- Perform Cloud Database Design (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Develop solution blueprints and provide delivery estimations
- Create data modeling documentation and secure client sign-offs
- Support analytics transformation initiatives across modern data platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years overall IT experience
- 3+ years hands-on Data Modeling experience
- Experience with:
- Dimensional Modeling
- 3NF Modeling
- NoSQL Database Modeling
- Experience with at least one Cloud DB Design project
- Strong understanding of:
- Data Architecture Principles
- Modern Data Platforms
- Data Warehousing (DWH)
- Experience using modeling tools such as:
- ERwin
- ER Studio
- Or equivalent enterprise data modeling tools
Nice to Have
- Data Vault Modeling
- Graph Database Modeling
- RDF / Ontology / Semantic Modeling
- Cloud Data Engineering & Data Integration
- Data Lake Architecture knowledge
- Experience in Analytics on Cloud platforms
