Key Responsibilities
- Drive discussions with client teams to understand business requirements and develop data models aligned with those requirements
- Lead discovery activities and design workshops; support design discussions with clients
- Create data modeling deliverables and obtain stakeholder sign-off
- Develop solution blueprints, scope projects, and provide delivery estimations
Technical Experience
Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of overall IT experience with at least 3 years in Data Modeling
- Strong experience in Dimensional Modeling, 3NF modeling, and/or NoSQL database modeling
- Experience in at least one Cloud Database design engagement
- Conversant with modern data platforms
- Hands-on experience in data transformation and analytics projects with solid understanding of Data Warehousing (DWH)
- End-to-end experience in database design across all stages of data modeling
- Experience with leading data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER Studio, or equivalent
Good-to-Have Skills
- Data Vault Modeling, Graph Database Modeling, RDF, Document DB Modeling
- Ontology and Semantic Data Modeling
- Understanding of Data Analytics on cloud platforms and Data Lake design
- Cloud Data Engineering and Cloud Data Integration
- Familiarity with Data Architecture principles
