Job Description

The Data Management Senior Analyst will be a key contributor to the Investment Division's data management program. This role ensures data quality is proactively monitored, discrepancies are escalated and resolved efficiently, and operational processes align with industry best practices. The Analyst applies strong data management expertise and functional understanding of investment operations to support and advance the division's data strategy.

Position Responsibilities:

Data Management Operations

  • Perform securities setup-including private securities-within the Data Management Security Master database.
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate data discrepancies between order management platforms and enterprise data systems.
  • Provide timely resolutions to data-related issues and stakeholder queries.


Security Reviews

  • Conduct periodic security master data reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal standards.
  • Validate new or updated securities and assess downstream impacts on valuation, performance, reporting, trading, and compliance workflows.
  • Ensure all security reference data meets required quality thresholds prior to production use.


Data Governance, Controls & Documentation

  • Maintain clear, complete, and up‑to‑date process documentation.
  • Assist leadership with analyzing existing procedures and recommending enhancements that strengthen data quality and operational efficiency.
  • Support risk assessment activities, including documentation of remediation plans and tracking of corrective actions.


Reporting, Analytics & Insights

  • Conduct in‑depth data gathering, cleansing, transformation, and analysis to support business reporting needs.
  • Contribute to standardized dashboards, recurring reports, and self‑service analytics capabilities.
  • Assist in shaping the reporting strategy and roadmap for the business unit.


Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Training

  • Stay informed on investment industry developments, securities market practices, and data management trends.
  • Participate in cross‑training and skill‑building programs to support continuity of service across functions.


Technology & Process Improvement

  • Partner with technology teams to enhance data flows, quality checks, and system functionality.
  • Identify and execute process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing operational risk and improving efficiency.


Project Support

Assist with strategic or operational projects by researching requirements, mapping data needs, identifying process gaps, and supporting solution implementation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in investment management, investment operations, mutual fund/UITF operations, or similar industries.
  • Knowledge of securities instruments, settlements, and investment processes.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Basic to intermediate SQL skills (an advantage).


Shift Schedule (Rotating):

  • US/CA day shift: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM Philippine Time, Monday to Friday (will adjust +1 hour when DST ends)
  • US/CA mid-shift: 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM Philippine Time, Monday to Friday (will adjust +1 hour when DST ends)
