The Opportunity
GrowthAssistant is looking for a Customer Support Assistant for one of our well-known brand clients in the U.S. The ideal candidate has a customer-first mindset and aims to deliver high-quality service in every interaction. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Omnichannel Support: Handle inbound customer calls, emails, chats, and texts via Zendesk and other client systems.
- Professional Communication: Respond to inquiries using client-provided templates, scripts, and SOPs while maintaining a voice aligned with brand guidelines.
- Information Accuracy: Provide precise details regarding products and services across all support channels.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and update all customer interactions in Zendesk, ensuring every ticket is handled within established SLAs.
- Tier 2 Escalations: Identify and escalate complex inquiries that require additional review or lack a decisive internal resource.
- Trend Tracking: Monitor recurring customer concerns and issues to help improve the overall service experience.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain FAQ documentation to proactively address common customer questions.
What You Bring
- CX Platform Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Zendesk (managing tickets and customer service) is a must-have.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English skills, with the ability to thrive in a fun, casual written communication environment.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Slack and G Suite for internal collaboration.
- Detail Oriented: A commitment to accuracy, consistency, and clean data logging within support platforms.
- Growth Mindset: A desire to learn, grow, and take on more responsibilities as part of a long-term team.
Bonus Points if:
- You have experience with Asana or other project management tools.
- You have a background working with loan products or within FinTech companies.
- You have experience documenting processes to support the creation of team playbooks.
Salary Range: $5-$7/hour (Final offer based on skills and experience matched to role requirements)
