How You'll Make an Impact

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for our patients, addressing their billing and customer service questions with empathy and efficiency. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for every patient, directly reporting to a dedicated customer success manager who will support your growth.

What You'll Do
  • Handle Inquiries: Receive and respond to inbound customer calls and chat requests from patients with questions and concerns about their service.
  • Provide Professional Service: Always present a positive and professional demeanor to clients, health plan members, and colleagues.
  • Maintain Productivity: Adhere to assigned shift times and consistently meet daily productivity requirements.
  • Support Team Needs: Be open to supporting requested overtime to help meet high-volume demands when needed.
  • Escalate Issues: Promptly escalate any member complaints to your customer success manager for immediate resolution.
  • Follow Procedures: Adhere to departmental procedures when communicating with patients to ensure consistent and high-quality service.
  • Embrace Feedback: Respond positively to coaching and supervision, continuously improving your skills.
  • Share Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert for peer side-by-side coaching and assist with training new employees as needed.
  • Ensure Privacy: Uphold the highest standards of security and privacy for all protected health information accessed during work activities.
Who We're Looking For
  • Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Results-Oriented: A desire to work in an efficient, results-oriented call center environment.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Highly motivated to achieve sales and productivity goals.
  • Excellent Communication: Good communication skills, friendly, and conversational with members.
  • Discreet: Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Reliable: Willingness to comply with a fixed daily schedule, including consistent start, break, lunch, and end times.
  • Adaptable: Ability to take direction and positively receive feedback.
  • Eager to Learn: Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
  • Experienced (A Plus): Previous call center experience is highly desirable.
  • Tech-Savvy: Solid PC and accurate data entry skills, with experience using MS Office.
