- Coordinate closely with Institutional Banking Segment counterparts to ensure timely submission of pre-approval documents and actively manage your assigned portfolio of accounts in partnership with lending officers.
- Prepare comprehensive Evaluation and Recommendation for Credit Accommodation (ERCA) reports for credit line renewals of institutional banking accounts, adhering strictly to internal policies and agreed service level agreements.
- Validate all data provided by lending units as part of the rigorous credit assessment process, ensuring accuracy and completeness at every stage.
- Assess collateral documentation for any deviations, identifying necessary mitigations to support sound credit decisions while upholding regulatory requirements.
- Identify all relevant policy and regulatory deviations during credit reviews to provide fair assessments of overall risks and make well-supported recommendations.
- Prepare detailed financial spreadsheets and conduct thorough financial evaluations for new borrowing clients, occasionally reviewing ERCA reports prepared by other teams for new credit facilities.
- Determine appropriate credit risk ratings and classifications for each account, ensuring these remain accurate and relevant based on current information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights on portfolio performance, emerging risks, and best practices in credit management.
- Support ongoing improvements in credit processes by providing feedback on policy effectiveness and participating in training sessions or workshops as required.
