The Postscript Plus team specializes in managed SMS marketing services. The List Growth team supports customers and internal teams by creating high-converting, on-brand popups and forms designed to grow email and SMS subscriber lists.
About the Role
We're seeking a Creative Popup Designer to join our Postscript Plus team. In this role, you'll design, build, and maintain high-quality, conversion-focused popups and forms while collaborating with members of the Customer Success team.
You'll work closely with multiple Postscript team members through Slack and Zoom and will support customers across a variety of brands and design needs. This is a remote contractor role, with availability during U.S. working hours (Eastern or Central Time preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design original, on-brand popups and forms and regularly update existing designs based on customer needs and brand guidelines.
- Use Postscript's Popup Editor to build and customize popup designs, including images, copy, layouts, and styling.
- Create and edit digital assets such as images, logos, and other graphics for ecommerce websites.
- Use design tools such as Figma and Photoshop to create and modify digital assets.
- Configure popup behavior and targeting based on customer marketing strategies and goals.
- Manage a high volume of design requests, typically 10–15 requests per week, while supporting additional ad-hoc projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams through Slack, Loom, Notion, and Google Workspace.
- Communicate clearly with team members and respond promptly in an asynchronous work environment.
- Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Incorporate feedback and make design refinements quickly and effectively.
Requirements
- Experience in ecommerce, web design, digital design, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of UX and design best practices for conversion-focused experiences.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and departments.
- A strong creative eye with excellent attention to detail in both design and copy.
- Ability to create new designs using existing brand guidelines, brand kits, and website assets.
- Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Canva, and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with Typekit/Adobe Fonts and managing web fonts.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to follow established brand guidelines while also providing thoughtful creative recommendations.
- Responsive, proactive, and comfortable working in an asynchronous environment.
- Comfortable working with customer feedback and adapting to evolving or ambiguous requirements.
- Bonus: Basic knowledge of CSS.
- Bonus: Understanding of ecommerce marketing funnels and performance marketing.
- Bonus: Experience with ecommerce marketing tools such as Klaviyo and Shopify.

- Reliably manages a high volume of design requests, with the ability to support 25+ requests per week as needed.
- Works efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and design quality.
- Collaborates effectively with the Postscript team and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
- Takes ownership of projects from design through implementation and refinement.
- Provides a high level of support and ownership for Enterprise-level customers.
