Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

At least 3 years experience in cost accounting and fixed asset management.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP or IFRS).

Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with audit processes and regulatory compliance.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of fixed assets including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.

Perform cost accounting analyses to track and control company expenses.

Reconcile fixed asset registers with general ledger accounts regularly.

Prepare reports on asset status and cost variances for management review.

Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to verify asset information.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to assets and costs.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies regarding asset management.

Identify opportunities for process improvements in cost and asset accounting.

Monitor asset impairments and write-offs as necessary.
