Cost Accounting Manager (F&B/FMCG)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Cost Accounting Manager with strong experience in Food & Beverage (F&B) and/or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with proven expertise in end-to-end costing and a solid background in managing accounting teams. This role plays a key part in driving cost efficiency, improving margins, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee end-to-end costing processes for F&B and/or FMCG operations
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard costing systems (including product and recipe costing)
- Conduct cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor inventory levels, wastage, and cost controls across production and distribution
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and procurement teams to optimize cost efficiency
- Prepare detailed cost reports, margin analysis, and profitability insights
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Lead, mentor, and develop the cost accounting team
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required
- Minimum of [X] years of relevant experience in F&B and/or FMCG industries
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end costing, inventory management, and cost control
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
