Job Description

The Corporate Planning Supervisor is responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities. The role translates complex financial information into clear, actionable insights to support Business Units and Management in strategic planning, performance monitoring, and profitability improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current and historical financial performance to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for profit enhancement.
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic, operational, and investment-related decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and performance dashboards to track key business and financial indicators.
  • Interpret complex financial data and assess its impact on KPIs and overall business performance.
  • Clearly communicate financial insights, risks, and business issues to management and Business Units in a practical and decision-oriented manner.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support corporate planning, budgeting, and performance review activities.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data used for analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 25 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, corporate planning, budgeting, or financial modeling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling and data analysis.
  • CPA, CMA, or CFA designation is preferred but not required.

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate numbers into meaningful business insights.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large and complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, solutions-driven mindset with sound business judgment.
