JOB SUMMARY

The Corporate Planning and Business Development (CBPD) Analyst supports processes to provide long term plans and business strategies on renewable energy (RE) solutions for industrial, commercial, micro grid, utility scale, and residential customers. This position identifies strategic direction, programs/initiatives aligned with and fully supportive of the Company's thrusts and objectives in the following functional areas:

  • Project & Stakeholder Coordination

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Strategic Planning & Corporate Performance Support

  • Support the annual budgeting and business planning cycle: consolidate inputs, validate assumptions, and assist in producing planning outputs and presentations.
  • Build and maintain financial and operational models (e.g., revenue projections, cost scenarios, sensitivity analysis).
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, threats, and growth opportunities in the RE landscape.
  • Support development and upkeep of performance management tools (dashboards, trackers, scorecards, KPI packs).
  • Collect, clean, and validate performance data; ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of metrics reporting.
  • Prepare regular reports and executive presentations summarizing performance insights, variances, and recommended actions.
  • Support standardization/review of relevant policies, templates, and procedures for planning and reporting.

B. Business Development & Investment / Feasibility Support

  • Assist in feasibility studies for new business ventures, products, and investments (market sizing, unit economics, risk review).
  • Support financial due diligence activities: data requests, analysis of financial statements, benchmarking, and documentation.
  • Support valuation work (e.g., DCF, comparables, scenario analysis) and investment papers for management review.
  • Conduct regular industry, economic, and political scanning and summarize key implications for the company.
  • Coordinate inputs from internal stakeholders (Commercial, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Operations) to complete BD deliverables.
  • Help prepare materials for stakeholder engagements: pitch decks, proposals, concept notes, and management briefers.
  • Support tracking of strategic partnerships/initiatives and maintain action logs, timelines, and decision registers.

C. Project & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Manage calendars, working sessions, and documentation for CBPD initiatives.
  • Drive follow-through: minutes, action items, owner tracking, and progress reporting.
  • Maintain organized repositories of models, decks, templates, and reference materials with version control.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 35 years experience in corporate planning, strategy, business development, investments, consulting, or commercial analytics (solar/energy exposure is a plus).
  • Strong analytical writing and executive presentation skills; able to convert messy inputs into clean decisions.
  • Strong attention to details.
