Creating copy content for MFG brands. Working hand-in-hand with the creative, marketing and product teams, the Copywriter is responsible for developing compelling and engaging content across various mediums;
Developing and maintaining tone of voice guidelines and consistency for all brands.
Key Result Areas And Responsibilities
Online Content
Ensure all product descriptions are written and uploaded in a timely manner
Regularly conduct site audits to ensure content is accurate
Work and support the Marketing team to develop strategies for eDMs, social media, and e-commerce to support the achievement of the Marketing Plan objectives
Review and interpret brief, ensure sufficient information to complete.
Provide content for eDM campaigns and ensure timelines and critical paths are being met.
Research, analyse and report on competitor tactics in the market
Generate copy ideas and take them from start-to-end in campaigns
Conceptualise copy briefs and own all things copy, write
and produce; web, product & packing, eDM's,
Liaise with Graphic Designers and Product teams to understand features and benefits of products
Writing, editing and proofing copy content for finished art
Develop and adhere to brand guidelines and apply a tone-of-voice that mirrors the brand
Actively seek ways to streamline efficiencies and improve processes across the organization
Written Marketing Content
Write social media captions i.e Instagram and Facebook
Write eDM headlines, body copy, subject and intro lines
Write seasonal trends for marketing collateral
Create and review copy for media needs, whether in house or received from a PR company
Other administration and ad hoc duties as required

Education/Qualifications/Memberships
Tertiary qualification in Copywriting, communications or equivalent
Preferred Experience
2+ years writing experience including product description experience
Experience within a retail marketing environment advantageous
