The Continuous Improvement Manager (Finance) will serve as a strategic internal consultant, responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end accounting processes. This role is tasked with enhancing operational scalability, ensuring data integrity, and driving world-class efficiency across the global finance organization.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and re-engineer the core accounting cycle to eliminate redundancies and shorten the monthly close cycle.
- Deploy Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, and Kaizen frameworks to identify root causes of process variances and implement sustainable solutions.
- Establish and govern Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to monitor the health of financial operations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure global consistency and compliance with internal controls (SOX).
- Deliver executive-level briefings on CI project progress, ROI, and impact on the organization's bottom line.
- Act as a catalyst for cultural change, mentoring finance staff on continuous improvement tools and fostering a proactive problem-solving environment.
- Influence senior leadership and cross-functional partners to support transformative initiatives.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Operations
- Proven experience in financial operations or management consulting, with a track record of leading large-scale process improvement projects.
- Advanced proficiency in enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
