Job Summary
The Business Process Excellence Head (AVP) is responsible for driving process optimization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The role focuses on enhancing end-to-end business processes, particularly in on-the-ground operations, to support productivity, cost efficiency, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of process excellence and continuous improvement strategies across business units
- Review, analyze, and redesign end-to-end processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Drive operational excellence initiatives across manufacturing, retail, FMCG, logistics, or field operations environments
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and implement sustainable solutions
- Champion process standardization, automation, and best practices across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and operations leaders to ensure alignment and execution of improvement initiatives
- Establish performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to monitor process effectiveness
- Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of new processes and systems
- Manage and develop the process excellence team, ensuring capability building and high performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field
- Proven experience in process excellence, continuous improvement, or operational transformation roles
- Background in manufacturing, retail, FMCG, logistics, or similar on-the-ground operations is required
- Strong experience in process mapping, re-engineering, and performance improvement
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an advantage
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to drive change and influence stakeholders across different levels of the organization
