Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Onboarding & Compliance Manager to oversee merchant onboarding and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. This role is essential in maintaining PayChoice's high standards for compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation is collected, verified, and processed efficiently.
- Assist with planning and preparing policies and procedures for Global Growth
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, AML/CTF requirements, and industry standards. Keep up-to-date with changes in compliance laws affecting the business.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for new and existing merchants, identifying potential compliance risks.
- Develop and refine onboarding and compliance procedures to enhance efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Operations, to ensure a seamless merchant onboarding experience.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on compliance best practices and regulatory updates.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare compliance reports, and support audits and reporting as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or merchant onboarding within the financial services, fintech, or payments industry.
- Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand financial regulations.
- Experience in conducting due diligence and risk assessments.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM and onboarding platforms is a plus.
