What a Compensation, Benefits Administration And Timekeeping Specialist

The HC Specialist is responsible for administering compensation, benefits, and timekeeping processes accurately and timely. This role serves as a resource for employee inquiries, supports HR operations, and ensures compliance with internal policies and government regulations. By managing these processes effectively, the HC Specialist contributes to employee satisfaction and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource for employee inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and timekeeping
  • Align compensation practices with performance management strategies to support organizational goals.
  • Prepare monthly salary sheets incorporating adjustments for paid time off, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other factors.
  • Compute wages, bonuses, deductions, taxes, social insurance, and other pay-related obligations.
  • Process employee government claims (e.g., GSIS, PhilHealth) and assist with BIR TIN and Philippine Health numbers for new hires.
  • Conduct benefits orientation and prepare contracts for new regularized employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and databases in the HRIS.
  • Coordinate with Payroll in Accounting and Finance to provide needed information.
  • Attend employee queries regarding salaries, attendance, and leave deductions.
  • Deliver accurate and timely execution of employee transactions as a hands-on processor.
  • Ensure compliance with eTaps safety, security, and information security protocols.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Psychology or Human Resources Management preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year handling compensation, benefits, and timekeeping.
  • Technical Competencies:
  • Advanced ability to manage benefit enrollment processes and resolve employee inquiries.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Ability to conduct assessments to ensure data accuracy and compliance with policies.
