Job Description

Overview

We're looking for a Commercial Director who can own revenue growth end-to-end. This role is responsible for defining and executing our go-to-market strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and turning our advertising, media, and marketing capabilities into scalable revenue streams.

This is not a manage and report role. You're expected to build, sell, and close.

Key Responsibilities

Go-To-Market & Growth

Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies across key markets and verticals

Identify where to play and how to win (target industries, client segments, geographic expansion)

Define clear market entry and penetration strategies

Sales & Commercial Leadership

Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth

Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting to closing

Lead client pitches, negotiations, and deal structuring

Develop strategic partnerships to unlock new revenue streams

Commercial Strategy

Own pricing strategy, packaging, and commercial models

Forecast revenue, track performance, and optimize for profitability

Translate company capabilities (creative, media, content, digital) into sellable solutions

Product & AI Commercialization

Bring AI-powered tools and solutions to market

Identify commercial opportunities for internal products and innovations

Shape positioning and messaging to ensure market relevance and competitiveness

Execution & Operations

Operate with high autonomy and accountability

Align closely with internal teams (marketing, creative, media) to deliver on client needs

Ensure commercial plans are executed effectively and efficiently

Qualifications & Experience

8–10+ years experience in commercial, sales, or business development roles

Strong background in advertising, media, and digital marketing

Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing deals

Experience in building go-to-market strategies and market expansion plans

Strong understanding of pricing strategy, forecasting, and commercial modeling

Experience selling integrated solutions (creative, media, content, digital)

Skills & Attributes

Highly organized and structured in approach

Strategic thinker who can also execute hands-on

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

Self-sufficient, proactive, and outcome-driven

Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch

Strong understanding of AI trends and ability to translate them into commercial opportunities

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Willing and able to attend client calls and pitches aligned with US time zones as needed

Comfortable working flexible hours / night shifts when required to support global clients and business development efforts
