Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Cloud Engineer with experience in two or more cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to join our growing team in a support, engineering, and consulting role. In this role, you will work closely with our senior architects, engineers and consultants to assist clients in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud architecture, develop technical expertise, and contribute to the success of our clients.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and respond to customer-facing support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with senior architects and consultants to understand client requirements and develop and support scalable cloud-based solutions.
- Apply best practice framework principles to evaluate and improve client architecture.
- Apply FinOps best practices to monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud costs, including cost allocation, budget tracking, and implementing cost-saving strategies.
- Support and assist clients with AI/ML workloads and implementations using cloud provider services such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Azure AI Studio, Azure ML, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, and other AI tools.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure components such as virtual compute instances (VMs & containers), storage services, databases, and virtual networks (VNet & VPC).
- Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring security best practices.
- Configure and manage cloud resources, including virtual compute instances, storage services, databases, virtual networks, and more.
- Develop and document infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Amazon CloudFormation & CDK, Azure ARM, Azure Bicap, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or Terraform.
- Contribute to DevOps workflows using tools such as Azure DevOps, Google Cloud Deployment and Amazon CodePipeline.
- Maintain awareness and proficiency on cloud services, features, and best practices to provide expert guidance and support to clients.
- Contribute to the development of documentation, training materials, and best practices guides for internal and external use.
- Actively participate in professional development activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge of cloud technologies.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's or Technology degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least three years working in an AWS, Azure or Google Cloud environment.
- At least one professional-level cloud certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
- Strong understanding of core cloud provider services, including compute, networking, storage, database, and security.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure and Google Cloud best practice framework principles and practices.
- Understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization best practices.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and familiarity with AI tools and services.
- Experience with ticketing systems and customer support workflows.
- Basic knowledge of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

- Certifications in more than one cloud provider
- FinOps Certified Practitioner or experience with cloud cost management tools.
- Experience with cloud provider AI/ML services.
- Experience conducting Well-Architected best-practice reviews.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.

- Experience in a technology consulting environment.
