The primary focus of this role is to effectively manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of small to mid‑value customer accounts through a scalable, sales and engagement model.
The role is accountable for driving sustainable sales, revenue growth and customer satisfaction across a high‑volume account base by applying strong portfolio prioritisation, efficient sales execution, and proactive relationship management. This includes identifying growth and retention opportunities across the portfolio, responding to customer needs in a timely and consistent manner, and delivering value through repeatable, data‑led sales motions rather than high‑touch, bespoke engagement.
The Account Manager will leverage deep knowledge of Telstra's products and services, market insights, and customer data to maximise portfolio performance, optimise sales order value, and achieve revenue, profitability, and customer experience targets at scale. Success in this role is driven by disciplined account prioritisation, effective pipeline and opportunity management, and the ability to balance customer satisfaction with commercial outcomes across a broad customer base.

As an Account Manager, you apply your expertise in account management, knowledge of Telstra's capabilities and products, and awesome relationship building skills to deliver the following responsibilities:
Actively contribute to customer initiatives (e.g. account planning sessions, campaign designs) that support the achievement of strategic business opportunities at Telstra and that have a significant degree of impact on portfolio retention and growth
