Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to drive sales, generate new leads, and build strong partnerships for GameOps. This role will work closely with the Business Development Director in identifying strategic growth opportunities and achieving organizational goals.

The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment, with the ability to balance project coordination and a strong focus on sales. Prior experience in marketing and/or sales is a plus. Fluency in Chinese, Japanese, or another foreign language is also a strong advantage.

While we prefer candidates with at least 2 years of experience, we also welcome fresh graduates who have the drive and ambition to learn and grow in the industry. This role will also require occasional business travel to attend and represent GameOps at industry conferences, conventions, and events

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Sales

  • Research and identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships.
  • Generate and nurture leads through outreach, networking, and participation in industry events.
  • Present GameOps services and value propositions to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with and support the Business Development Director in achieving sales targets and organizational growth objectives.
  • Assist in drafting and preparing proposals, pitches, and presentations to secure new business opportunities.
  • Track, update, and manage the lead pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and effective client communication.
  • Support the Business Development Director with prospect engagement, follow-ups, and execution of lead-generation strategies.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new partnership and service opportunities.
  • Support upselling and cross-selling efforts with existing clients to maximize revenue.
  • Represent GameOps and its other business units at conferences, conventions, and networking eventseither alongside or on behalf of the Business Development Directorto identify and develop business opportunities.
  • Provide operational and logistical support to the Business Development Director in executing business development initiatives, including follow-ups, scheduling, coordination, and other essential leg work.

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate activities, resources, and timelines to ensure smooth execution of business development projects.
  • Support seamless project transitions by preparing documentation, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Ensure that all projects and initiatives align with the companys broader business development goals.
  • Assist the Business Development Director in coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver on commitments.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM tools.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales progress, pipeline status, and key performance metrics for leadership review.
  • Create project documentation, including scopes, milestones, and transition plans, to support execution and growth.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups are documented and communicated effectively to the Business Development Director and relevant stakeholders.

Administrative & Budget Support

  • Assist in tracking budgets and expenses to ensure efficient allocation of resources for business development efforts.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Business Development Director, including scheduling, correspondence, and coordination of meetings.
  • Manage the day-to-day leg work required to execute business development strategies effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or project coordination preferred.
  • Fresh graduates with internship experience in sales/marketing are encouraged to apply.
  • Marketing and/or sales background is a plus.
  • Fluency in Chinese, Japanese, or another foreign language is a strong plus.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and project management tools (Asana, Trello, MS Project, ClickUp, AirTable) is a plus.
  • Strong presentation and proposal creation skills.

Must be willing to work ONSITE on shifting schedules including night shift, weekends, and holidays
