Title: Business Analyst
Location: Makati.
Work set-up : Onsite ( Monday - Friday 8:30 - 6:30)
JOB OBJECTIVE:
- The Business Analyst assesses and validates business user requirements and translates it into a more detailed functional requirement.
- Focuses on defining, analyzing and documenting the business impact of IT projects and system change requests, business processes and system / software requirements, and translating business needs into new products, services and profits.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicates with project stakeholders/business users to understand the needs of the departments
- Translates and simplifies Information Technology System Request Form (ITSRF) documents into functional requirements.
- Identifies and validates key business requirements in order to define the business problems and primary objectives of new projects.
- Prepares Project Proposition (PP) based on ITSRF submitted by the business users/stakeholders and gathers necessary information through various methodologies such as interviews, documents analysis and surveys.
- Evaluates information gathered, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high level information into details and distinguishes user requests from true needs and submits to Project Lead for review and Section Head for approval.
- Prepares Systems Integration Testing (SIT) test plans, formulates and maintains System Integration Testing (SIT) test scripts by defining various test conditions which aims to show test results for each module.
- Collaborates with the development team's Team Lead in better understanding of business requirements and formulation of technical specifications and analyses trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
- Supports the team in recommending changes that will enhance the business processes of the project.
- Initiates and conducts meetings with different stakeholders (business users, system engineers, resource person and third-party vendors) who are involved in the project/enhancement of existing system.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adheres to the provisions of the bank's Code of Conduct and Discipline.
- Ensures that high quality work and efficiency in Department operations are maintained at all times.
- Reports any fraudulent, suspicious acts or unlawful activities / transactions immediately to the immediate head to pre-empt potential risks to the bank.
- Attends training and seminars deemed necessary such as company's CORE-PRO, Vision Casting & Culture Building, Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) Training and others.
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in the work station.
- Ensures proper upkeep/maintenance of assigned equipment.
- Uses Unit resources, i.e., utilities, supplies, judiciously.
- Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- College graduate with an IT related course, from a reputable school/university
- At least 1-2 years working experience in any IT related field
- Programming skills is an advantage
- Must have good documentation skills
- Techno-functional analysis skills is preferred
- With good written and verbal communication skills
- Must have good logical skills
