Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Brand Sales Specialist for Power Portfolio, you will apply your sales and product expertise to close business for IBM, often in conjunction with Business Partners. You will match IBM solutions to client requirements and sell IBM offerings directly to clients or through IBM Business Partners. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop and Maintain Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in a designated set of IBM offerings to effectively match solutions to client requirements and drive sales.
- Sell IBM Offerings: Sell IBM Power Systems line of offerings directly to clients or through IBM Business Partners, applying sales and product expertise to close business.
- Understand Competition: Understand competition and develop appropriate winning sales strategies to stay ahead in the market.
- Collaborate with Business Partners: Work in conjunction with Business Partners to identify and pursue sales opportunities, leveraging each other's strengths to drive success.
- Match Solutions to Client Needs: Match IBM solutions to client requirements, ensuring that clients receive the best possible solutions to meet their needs.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Power Systems Product Knowledge: Experience with IBM Power Systems line of offerings, including their features, benefits, and applications.
- Sales and Product Expertise: Experience with developing and maintaining expertise in a designated set of IBM offerings to effectively match solutions to client requirements and drive sales.
- Competitive Analysis: Experience with analyzing competition and developing winning sales strategies to stay ahead in the market.
- Business Partner Collaboration: Experience working with Business Partners to identify and pursue sales opportunities, leveraging each other's strengths to drive success.
- Solution Selling: Experience with matching IBM solutions to client requirements, ensuring that clients receive the best possible solutions to meet their needs.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Exposure to IT Industry: Exposure to the IT industry, particularly in sales or a related field, with an understanding of technology trends and market dynamics.
