Job Description

Location: Fully Remote (UK)

Employment Type: Part-Time (2–3 days per week, 9am–5pm UK time)

Our Mission

Social Paradigm Group is the result of two of the UK's leading D2C agencies - Social Nucleus and Paradigm Media - merging to form a single group built around one goal: helping ambitious ecommerce brands grow profitably.

With 75+ brand partners, £100M+ in annual managed ad spend, proprietary tech built in-house (AdSynth and eCompass), and elite teams across paid media, creative, email and strategy, we're building something no other agency group in the UK has under one roof.

The Role

As our Bookkeeper, you'll be the person who keeps the financial engine of Social Paradigm Group running cleanly and accurately. This is a part-time, remote role working 2–3 days per week, and it's ideal for someone who takes real pride in precise, well-managed books.

You'll work closely with the leadership team to ensure our accounts are up to date, our reporting is accurate, and our financial position is always clear. As the group continues to scale, getting the financial foundations right matters - and that starts with this hire.

What You'll Do

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across the group's accounts, keeping everything accurate and up to date
  • Prepare and file financial reports on a regular basis, ensuring leadership always has a clear picture of the numbers
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and ad spend accounts across the business
  • Process invoices, expenses, and supplier payments accurately and on time
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Liaise with the external accountant as required and ensure all records are audit-ready
  • Flag any financial discrepancies or anomalies to the leadership team promptly
  • Maintain clean, well-organised financial records and documentation at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally within an agency or service-based business
  • Confident and proficient with Xero - this is essential
  • Experience managing accounts across multiple entities or cost centres is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable producing financial reports and presenting numbers clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented - you notice errors before they become problems
  • Able to work independently and manage your own time across 2–3 days per week
  • Strong written communication and comfortable liaising with the leadership team directly
  • Available to work UK hours (9am–5pm) on agreed days

What You'll Get

  • Competitive day rate or salary (dependent on experience)
  • Fully remote working
  • Part-time schedule - 2–3 days per week
  • Work within a fast-growing, ambitious group at an exciting stage of its journey
