We're looking for a Bookkeeper who brings clarity, structure, and consistency to our financial operations, someone who can take ownership, keep things running smoothly, and give leadership full visibility into the numbers that matter.
Your Mission
You will own the day-to-day bookkeeping function and turn financial chaos into clean, reliable systems.
What You'll Do
- Set up and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online
- Send invoices, track payments, and follow up on collections
- Manage accounts payable (vendors, subcontractors, expenses)
- Process bi-weekly payroll
- Categorize transactions and keep books organized
- Perform monthly reconciliations and support month-end close
- Prepare financial reports that guide business decisions
- Ensure all payments and approvals are handled on time
- Keep everything audit-ready, always
What Success Looks Like
- Books are clean, accurate, and always up to date
- Leadership has clear visibility into financial performance
- Invoices go out on time, and payments come in faster
- Month-end close is smooth and predictable
Who You Are
- Experienced in QuickBooks Online
- Strong in full-cycle bookkeeping (AP/AR, invoicing, collections)
- Confident in payroll processing and reconciliations
- Detail-oriented and highly reliable
- A clear communicator in written and spoken English
- Comfortable on video and documenting processes
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in construction or trade-based industries
- Familiarity with ClickUp or Pipedrive
- Sales tax filing experience
- Experience supporting CPAs or year-end processes
